IRM 3301 Course Project: Fundamentals of Insurance Planning
Select a current topic related to the course that pertains to any aspect of risk management or insurance. Identify an issue or risk exposure that is relevant or you expect to become an issue in the future.
Conduct research and write a two to five page paper explaining the issue, the potential impact, the benefit of having used risk management or the benefit of implementing it going forward (example: what type of policy would be helpful if using risk transfer; please include at least one non insurance risk management technique), and suggest a strategy for addressing this issue.
Quantify the loss exposure whenever possible as well as any environmental or other externalities.
This paper is open to any and all risk exposure topics as addressed in the course.
