Choose one of the Benedictine Values Discussion
(which can be found here: https://online.umary.edu/about/values) and discuss how the concepts of economics can be applied in support of that value.
Your discussion can use examples from your own lives or careers, but should also be supported by at least 3 outside sources. Sources are not required to be scholarly, peer reviewed (though they of course could be).
Sources should, however, be from a reputable publication, either industry (ex. Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Kiplinger, etc.) or general. (If you are not sure whether a specific source is reputable, feel free to ask me ahead of time.)
Support from sources may include stories in which economics or finance have been used to support the Benedictine Value of your choice, either in a specific instance or in general theory or research.
The paper should give a basic explanation of the economic concepts present, and how they are being applied in support of the Benedictine Value chosen.
Papers do not need to be APA, but should be well written (i.e. grammar and spelling will be included in the grade). Additionally, specific information from sources should be cited as such.
It is expected that the paper will be 2 - 3 pages in length.
